Senior/Adult Membership Form

Senior Membership of Orkney Athletic & Running Club costs £30 for the 2024 season. We would ask you to make the payment via bank transfer to: Account Name: Orkney Athletic and Running Club, Sort Code: 80-22-60, Account Number: 23187767 . Please use your name as the payment reference so that we can easily associate the payment with your membership.

Orkney Athletic and Running Club (OARC) is a registered charity, and can claim gift aid on membership payments. This means the Club can receive an additional 25p from HMRC for every £1 of membership paid. Gift Aid is reclaimed by the charity from HMRC – you don’t need to do anything other than tick the box below and complete your details as your address is needed to identify you as a current UK taxpayer. Note: gift aid can only be claimed on membership fees that are paid for by the member themselves with the exception of membership fees purchased for a child (under the age of 18) which can be accepted.

When you sign up to be a member of Orkney Athletic & Running Club we ask you for personal information (name, address, date of birth, medical conditions etc). We ask for this information so we can administer your membership and provide services including training and competition opportunities. From time to time we will request additional information from you e.g. for specific competition entries. We may need to share this information within the Club (with Committee members and coaches), with Scottish Athletics and other Clubs and when submitting results from competitions to the Power of 10.We need your consent to collect, hold and share your personal information for these purposes. We will only keep your information for as long as you are a member of the Club and we give you an opportunity to update the information on the annual membership renewal form. You have a right to ask to see information we hold about you, for it to be changed or removed from our files at any time. We commit to hold and store your data securely.
